3. Account Registration and Management

A User must register an Account to utilize any of the Services. 24JBET reserves the right to refuse to register your Account with or without cause.

3.1. 3.3. You cannot buy, sell, or transfer the Account to other User(s). You shall not transfer or sell your Account and/or acquire or accept a transfer of another registered Account with 24JBET from another person.

3.4. 24JBET strictly prohibits any of its employees, individuals connected in any capacity to such employees, or any person affiliated with third-party service providers or agents (as determined at the sole discretion of 24JBET) from placing bets on any market or event offered through the Website or Services. This prohibition is intended to preserve the integrity and fairness of all betting activities. Any bets placed in breach of this provision shall be considered null and void, and no winnings shall be paid in respect thereof. 24JBET reserves the right to take any further action it deems necessary, including suspension or closure of any Account used in connection with such prohibited activity.

3.5. Each User is permitted to register and maintain only one Account. If 24JBET has reasonable grounds to suspect that a User has opened or is operating multiple Accounts—whether through name or email variations, misspellings, or other means—in breach of these Terms, it reserves the right to take appropriate action. This may include closing all such Accounts or permitting the User to retain only the initially registered Account. 24JBET further reserves the right to void all bets placed through any duplicate Account(s) and to withhold any associated winnings.

3.6. Upon Account registration, you may be assigned or required to create a username and password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account credentials and for all activity conducted under your Account. If you suspect unauthorized access or compromise of your Account information, including your email or mobile number, you must notify us immediately. All bets placed using valid login credentials shall be deemed valid. 24JBET accepts no liability for losses arising from unauthorized or fraudulent use of your Account.

3.7. The User may request Account termination at any time by submitting a written request via email or through their Account. Any outstanding balance must be settled before termination, and the Account cannot be closed until fully paid. Termination may be reversed at 24JBET’s discretion, subject to identity verification and the Terms in effect at the time of reactivation. Once closed, you may not register a new Account with 24JBET.

3.8. Without limiting any rights of 24JBET under these Terms or by law, if 24JBET reasonably believes, at its sole discretion, that you have breached these Terms, including any applicable game rules, promotional terms, or engaged in prohibited behavior such as fraud or collusion, or if unusual activity is detected on your Account, 24JBET may:
(i) suspend your Account for up to 90 days;
(ii) restrict withdrawals, deposits, or bet placements;
(iii) prevent access to your Account; or
(iv) terminate your Account.
24JBET may request additional information to verify your compliance, including identification or payment provider documentation. Notification of suspension may be sent via email or pop-up notice upon login, but such notification is not a condition for suspension or termination. Following an investigation, 24JBET may reactivate or terminate the Account. If suspicious activity is detected, you may be required to provide documentation confirming your identity or source of funds. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in immediate suspension or termination. If your Account is terminated due to a breach of Terms, any open bets on future events may be voided and original stakes refunded. In cases of fraud, any remaining balance, including winnings, may be forfeited, and open bets voided. Upon termination, all rights to use the Services are revoked. You are responsible for uninstalling any related software.

3.9. Account Suspension and Termination: Without limiting 24JBET’s rights or remedies, we may exclude the User from the Services, suspend or terminate the Account, and/or void any placed bets, including winning bets, at our sole discretion and without disclosing the reason. If you have any queries regarding your Account, it is your responsibility to notify 24JBET promptly and provide all relevant information as requested. Upon Account termination, 24JBET will return amounts used for open bets (excluding bonus funds, which will be forfeited), unless otherwise specified by these Terms. We reserve the right to withhold funds pending investigation if we suspect a breach of these Terms or involvement in fraudulent or suspicious activity, or as required by law or regulatory authorities.

3.10. 24JBET may report your Account details to relevant authorities, including sporting bodies, law enforcement, or other regulatory bodies, as required by law. If we suspect fraudulent, dishonest, or criminal activity, we reserve the right to refuse or void any bets, including those accepted, and withhold settlement. You agree to indemnify 24JBET for any costs, losses, or damages (direct, indirect, or consequential) arising from your fraudulent or criminal actions.

4. Deposits and Withdrawals

4.1. Deposits

You may deposit funds into your Account using the payment methods available through 24JBET. We reserve the right to verify the ownership of the payment method(s) and the source of the funds by requesting supporting documentation. If you deposit funds using a payment method not registered in your name, we may (i) suspend your Account and/or (ii) request additional information to confirm your authorization to use the method. Your Account may remain suspended until verification is complete. Any registered bank account must be with a Nigerian licensed bank and in your name. If a deposit is made from a third-party payment method or funds provided by a third party for wagering, we may refund the deposit to the source and void any associated bets, with no obligation to pay any winnings. 24JBET does not charge fees for deposits, but your payment provider’s fees may apply. Minimum and maximum deposit limits may apply, and you can only bet up to your available balance. Deposits subject to bonus promotions will be governed by the bonus rules and may not be withdrawn.

The Account is for accessing the Services under these Terms and is not a banking facility. Deposits made after 13th January 2025 will be for betting only and cannot be withdrawn. If we suspect deposits without genuine play, 24JBET reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your Account and investigate the activity. We may also offset any incurred bank charges from your Account without notice.

24JBET reserves the right to change the payment methods we accept from time to time. Furthermore, in our absolute discretion and without giving reason, we reserve the right to refuse to accept any type of payment method presented to us, irrespective of whether we have previously accepted such payment method type from you or would usually accept that payment type from any User.

4.2. Withdrawals

The User may request to withdraw the available cash balance in their Account, including any winnings from bets placed with the cash balance. Withdrawals can only be made to the bank account registered under the User’s Account.

24JBET reserves the right to reject any withdrawal if it appears to be related to transactions primarily intended to transfer funds between payment methods, including un-played deposit withdrawals, where applicable. Additionally, withdrawals may be rejected if the User fails to provide satisfactory proof of ownership of the payment method.

24JBET may perform verification checks at withdrawal, as required by us or third parties, including regulatory bodies. We may suspend withdrawal methods, the Account, or Services until verification is complete. Upon withdrawal request, you may be asked to provide a copy of your ID (front/rear) and any of the following documents:
- For credit card transactions, a copy of the card showing the last 4 digits;
- A recent official document (e.g., bank statement) showing your name, address, bank details, and 24JBET-related transactions;
- Any other relevant documents to complete the check.

Withdrawals are generally processed within 7 banking days, subject to the verification process, which may apply. 24JBET does not accept any liability for any delays which may be due to the payment provider.

The User shall not initiate chargebacks, reversals, or cancel any deposit made into the Account. If we incur any chargebacks, reversals, or related charges, we reserve the right to charge you for or deduct the applicable amounts from your Account balance.

We reserve the right to withhold payments and void bets if we reasonably believe you’ve breached these Terms, including being under 18 at registration or when placing bets, using the Services in an illegal jurisdiction, or if your identity or information cannot be verified. If you owe us any money, we may offset the amount against your Account balance or winnings before processing any withdrawals or further payments.

You are responsible for reporting your winnings to the tax and/or other authorities as may be applicable from time to time.

5. Bets Placing

You acknowledge that we have no obligation to accept any bet or wager and reserve the right to decline, or limit, any bet.

You cannot place a bet if your Account has insufficient funds. All bets must meet the minimum stake requirement. You are responsible for your bets and must ensure they are correct. It is your responsibility to review the Terms and any specific betting terms, available on the Website or app. If you have questions, contact Customer Service. All bets are subject to the maximum pay-out limit, which may change. Your bet is valid once accepted by the 24JBET server and (i) for sports bets, when your betslip appears on your Account with a confirmation message and betting slip number, and (ii) for game bets, when the bet ID appears on your Account (the “Accepted Bet”). Accepted Bets cannot be canceled or changed. Only Accepted Bets will appear on your Account and are considered valid.

24JBET is not liable for the settlement of any bets that are not Accepted Bets or for invalid bets. The winnings due on undisputed valid bets made from the cash balance of your Account will be added to the cash balance of your Account once settled. This balance will remain on your Account unless you submit a request for the part, or all, of the qualifying Account balance for withdrawal.

Without prejudice to any specific terms applicable to the Services, 24JBET reserves the right to withhold payment of winnings and void the bet if evidence shows that any of the following has occurred: (i) the integrity of the event is in question; (ii) the odds or pool have been manipulated; (iii) match-fixing has occurred; (iv) you were under 18 years of age when placing the bet; (v) you were in a jurisdiction where the provision of our services is illegal when the bet was placed; or (vi) any other reasons outlined in the Terms.

7. Errors and Omissions

7.1. Errors

(b) A “palpable error,” where odds or terms are materially different from those in the general market or clearly incorrect based on event probability;
(c) Accepting bets on a market that should have been suspended or closed;
(d) Errors arising from fraudulent or prohibited activities under your Account;
(e) Acceptance of a bet in violation of applicable terms;
(f) Errors in calculating winnings or returns, whether manual or system-generated;
(g) Incorrect crediting of free bets or bonuses to your Account;
(h) Acceptance of incompatible bets due to human or technical error;
(i) System or communication errors in generating random numbers;
(j) Failure of any of our systems.
These circumstances shall be referred to as an “Error.”

If 24JBET overpays or mistakenly credits funds to your Account, you agree to repay the overpaid amount immediately upon request. You must notify 24JBET of any such error. We reserve the right to adjust your Account to correct the Error, including cancelling bets or winnings related to the funds in question. 24JBET may withhold any winnings derived from such funds and will require repayment upon demand. Any overpaid amounts may be set off against any positive balance in your Account.

(a) Correct any Error and re-settle the bet at the correct price or terms that were available or should have been available on the Website at the time the bet was placed. In such a case, the bet will be deemed to have occurred under the usual terms applicable to that bet;
(b) If it is not reasonably practicable to correct and re-settle as described in paragraph (a) above, to declare the bet void and refund the stake to the Account; or
(c) In cases where the Error results from your fraudulent or prohibited activity, or any activity under your Account in breach of the Terms, to void the bet and terminate your account.

Neither we (including our officers, employees, or agents), nor our partners or suppliers, shall be liable for any loss, including loss of winnings, that results from any Error or any mistake made by you in utilizing the Services.

You shall inform us as soon as reasonably practicable should you become aware of any Error and stop immediately any further activity in relation to the Service(s) the Error applies to.

In the event that the printed version of a document or of a coupon differs from the web version, the latter shall prevail. In the event of any dispute, the User agrees that the records of our server shall act as the final authority in determining the outcome of any claim.

All complaints arising from a bet placed via the Services or a game participated in must be formally submitted to 24JBET within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date the bet is settled or, if unresolved, from the date the bet was accepted. Such complaints must be directed to Customer Services and must include the Account User ID along with full details of the relevant bet.

Without prejudice to any rights available under these Terms or applicable law, 24JBET reserves the right to suspend your Account, refuse acceptance of any bets, and/or withhold or revoke any promotional offers associated with your Account upon receipt of a claim and until such claim is fully resolved.

Subject to the provisions of these Terms, the User acknowledges and agrees that, where applicable, the outcome of games accessed through the Services shall be determined by a random number generator, and the results generated and recorded by the game server shall be final and binding. The User further agrees that the records maintained on 24JBET’s servers shall constitute the conclusive authority in determining the conditions and circumstances surrounding the User’s use of the Services and any resulting outcomes.

If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court or other competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect. In such cases, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified, to the extent permitted by law, in a manner that most closely reflects the original intent of 24JBET.
